Each year the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce Committee recognizes outstanding educators from Coos Bay and North Bend. This year, the 2020 Educator of the Year was awarded to Chef Frank Murphy. Chef Murphy is our Culinary Arts Teacher and with his mobile pizza oven has created an outstanding CTE program at North Bend High School. On behalf of the Board and the rest of the North Bend school community, I want to congratulate Chef Murphy on this much deserved recognition and award!
